Terms of Service & Customer Agreement
Thank you for choosing Mr. Shine Exteriors for your window cleaning needs. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of our services. By booking our services, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Services Provided
Mr. Shine Exteriors provides professional exterior and interior window cleaning services for residential and commercial properties. Our services include:
•Exterior window cleaning and interior window cleaning
•Screen cleaning (when applicable)
•Removal of dirt, debris, water spots, and hard water (when applicable)
•Track and sill cleaning
2. Weather Policy
Day-of Weather Determination
Weather conditions can be unpredictable. To ensure the best possible service quality and safety for our team, we have implemented the following weather policy:
→We will NOT reschedule jobs in advance based on weather forecasts, regardless of predictions.
→Weather assessments are made on the day of service only. We will evaluate actual conditions on your scheduled service day.
→If weather is unsuitable on the day of service (heavy rain, high winds, unsafe conditions), we will reschedule to our next available opening.
→Light mist or overcast conditions do not typically prevent service completion.
Note: We appreciate your understanding that this policy ensures we maximize service completion while maintaining safety and quality standards.
3. Cancellation Policy
Customer Cancellations
Late Cancellation Fee: $50.00
Any cancellation made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment will result in a $50.00 cancellation fee.
Free Cancellation Window
Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance of your scheduled service are free and incur no penalty.
How to Cancel
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We understand that emergencies happen, but this policy helps us manage our schedule and serve all customers fairly.
Important: The $50 cancellation fee must be paid before any future services can be scheduled.
4. Payment Terms
We Accept:
Cash, Check, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle
Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Prices that went’t quoted in person are estimates and may vary based on actual conditions encountered.
Any applicable cancellation fees must be paid before scheduling future services.
5. Liability & Insurance
Mr. Shine Exteriors is fully insured for your protection. We take great care in providing our services, but please note:
Pre-existing damage to windows, screens, or surrounding areas should be reported before service begins.
We are not responsible for damage to windows that are already cracked, loose, or improperly installed.
Any damage caused by our service will be addressed promptly and professionally.
6. Property Access
Customer must provide safe and clear access to all windows to be cleaned.
Please secure pets and notify us of any potential hazards on the property.
Customer is responsible for unlocking gates and providing access to water sources if needed.
7. Client Presence During Service
Interior & Exterior Cleaning: The Client must be present during the cleaning unless prior arrangements have been made with Mr. Shine Exteriors.
Exterior-Only Cleaning: The Client does not need to be present. However, if window screens can only be removed from the inside, the Client is responsible for removing them prior to the appointment.
